CATARACT

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye that affects vision. It typically develops slowly and can occur in one or both eyes. Cataracts are most commonly related to aging, but they can also result from injury.

CORNEA

The cornea is the transparent, dome-shaped surface that covers the front part of the eye. It plays a vital role in focusing light onto the retina at the back of the eye, contributing significantly to vision clarity.

RETINA

The retina is the light-sensitive tissue lining the inner surface of the back of the eye. It contains millions of photoreceptor cells which convert light into electrical signals then transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve.

GLAUCOMA

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often due to increased pressure within the eye, leading to vision loss and blindness if untreated.

LASIK

Lasik is a surgical procedure used to correct vision problems by reshaping the cornea using a laser, aiming to improve vision and reduce or eliminate the need for eyeglasses or lenses.

SQUINT & PEDIATRIC

Squint, also known as strabismus, is a vision condition where the eyes do not align properly, causing one eye to look straight ahead while the other turns inward, outward, upward, or downward.

DRY EYE

Dry eye syndrome occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly. Tears are essential for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision.

ORBIT & OCULOPLASTY

The orbit is the bony cavity in the skull that contains the eyeball, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels that support the eye. It also houses the lacrimal gland, which produces tears, and the structures necessary for tear drainage.

ALLERGY

Allergic conjunctivitis, commonly referred to as allergy eyes, is a bothersome condition triggered by exposure to allergens such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander, or mold. Symptoms like itching, redness, watery discharge etc.
